The Judgment begins.

The screams had long since dulled. Armor had long since thickened against the magic the Archmage had used to torture him; muscles grown massive, spikes on hands. The trials he'd been put through...How long had he been inside of this pocket reality? Time had long since dulled and warped into nothingness. Slaughters, thousands of beasts, billions; tigers, chimeras, horrifying creatures with names unknown. Magic had always been what the man in the tower had preferred. There it was, that...memory. Pulling at him, how he'd gotten here. It was something...ugh. He'd managed to wander his way into the wizard's tower after...that debacle. That ending. What year was it...1023 was when he'd left. Something had been wrong; awful. Things were different, here. Everything. Falling to a knee in front of that massive tower, the Archmage appeared in a flash. Head craning up to look at him, the robed man stared with a sneer; long past human, armor seared to him, a surge of magical energy pulsed out and into the form of the man, and that was his death.

Falling down to the ground, the wizard didn't expect him to get back up; nobody could live through a hit like that. Get back up he did, however, and the response was another pulse of magical energy; it did nothing, and the man began walking towards him. After a few dozen different spells, the wizard realized what the powers of this being were, and sent him into his pocket dimension; oh, yes, he'd be the perfect experimentation tool. Slowing the time within the dimension, each tick of a second could take a billion years; exhaustively he was tortured, every single ruinous spell within the mages repertoire used on him; seeing how powerful this beast could get. Despite this, he always returned, always stronger, always better. Locked away in that dimension, the beastial thing constantly grew in power and in hate; his anger became worse, and he became a ravening, cold creature.

Modern times had hit the mage rather non-chalantly. Ah, so, other magic users had decided to come out with their power? Hardly of any concern to him. He was still the Archmage. What chance had any young being against him? Though...the non magical powers worried him just a bit. Then again, magic had always won out over human ingenuity. Besides, that...thing, within his dimension may yet come in handy. Oh, yes-he hadn't checked on it in a while. Hefting himself up from his seat and opening the portal before him, he smirked as he walked in; oh, he loved how time worked here. A second outside could be so horrifyingly long; less than 1,000 years had passed, but that beast may as well have been in here an eternity. Still, it was of no worry to him...how could it be? Staring down at him with its hulking form, a massive claw on the monster's hand swung down in an attempt to meet with the mage; oh, but that was silly. Turning himself ethereal, he prepared to laugh at the thing's attempts to harm him physically-...before realizing that a tear had been wrought in his robe and himself. Claws on the monster's hands now glowing with supernatural light, the mage's eyes widened and he began backing away; he was followed. The monster was within the world.

Flinging every spell he had at this thing...well, none worked. It was useless; every spell he'd ever made had already been tested. The beast had been tempered in the flame of this mage, and his fire could no longer do a thing to him; the armor that may as well have been his body seemed as though it had been wrought from pure anti-magical essence. Standing over the utterly defeated mage, one last card had yet to be played; with a scream that echoed through dimensions, the Archmage teleported them both into /co/-1, from the second universe of magic; the beast's original home, when he had been a man. The claw wrought the Archmage's body easily, and he died just as easily. He did not return. Shifting himself up to look at where he was now situated, the monster turned and looked out over the area. A desert in America. Los Angeles was a few miles away. He could feel it; smell the population. Humanity. Moving himself forward, he began walking towards it.

Judgment had begun.

Sugar Shock kicks back and sips her drink on the beach. Coming to sunny LA to get away from that vampire was the best idea she had had in ages! She is also quite a bit cleaner than she has been in ages thanks to frequent dips in pools and the ocean.

"Move over, bitch!" She shouts at someone standing over her who seems to be about to talk to her. "You're in my sunshine!"

MEANWHILE, IN FICTIONIA, as the leading magic-based country in an other-wise technological world...

"There's a what?"

"A disturbance, somewhere near LA; young prince."

"So?"

"So....it's pretty big. And magic-based. The US doesn't have much in terms of magic-defense and your sword is basically the most powerful magical anything on Earth? You should go help out?"

"Uh....no. Not my country; not my problem."

And so did Ash chill in his big royal castle.

Continuing to move himself forward through the desert, he eventually comes to Los Angeles itself. A few mages show up to attempt to stop him, having teleported there at the massive disturbance, but...well, nothing from this universe can hope to stop him, in terms of magic. Not much from the other universe could, either. Simply wading through every attack they throw at him, their attempts to run are met with claws at their backs, and they fall as easily as grass to a scythe.

Looking up at the largest building in his sight as he enters the city, a large car slams into his bulk; he doesn't move an inch. The car may as well have driven itself into the side of a mountain. Bringing his claw down onto the head of the terrified driver before whipping it forward, the building flies off and into a nearby crowd of pedestrians. After this, his claw angles upwards; it flies out, as if on a chain, and slams into the top of the tallest building in sight; people below scream and run at the beast's form, but he jerks the claw back with his massive strength, and...the building falls. Torn from its foundation, it slams into the ground, laying itself across several city streets, even falling over the monster himself. Well, that was a stupid thing to-...oh.

Bursting from the side of the building completely unhindered, he nontheless decides to angle his shots a bit better; for the sake of appearances, at least. Moving down the street, his claw flying forward into and tearing down buildings as he goes, police quickly arrive on scene to attempt to stop him. Police, incidentally, quickly realize that trying to stop a being that is currently tearing down buildings with his bare hands using guns is a poor idea.

News reports across the country go insane at the news of this new, massively powerful being rampaging across Los Angeles; with Justice dead and Zealot missing, who could possibly save them? Anyone even vaguely connected to anything technological would be informed about the massive threat.

Just as Sugar gets the intruder out of her light, she is interrupted again by sirens and distant explosions.

"Oh, for fucks sake!" She yells as she turns over to see what's going on. Trouble from the looks of the rising smoke and smashing sounds.

Who the fuck is ruining her vacation now?? She grumbles and stalks off to an ice cream store to try and gather some supplies to stop this so she can get back to fun in the sun.

The higher ups sent him to respond to a disturbance in the sector. Neat. It would be an interesting experience as this was his first time here. Usually the disturbances all usually happened on the same planet, over and over again, as if the gods favored it for destruction or something. Anywho, good ol' Officer Lee was pulling up to the planet when

Lee slowly stepped out of the wreckage of his small, car shaped ship after kicking the door off of it. He had no clue what just happened or how he crashed. "This is already going south..." He said to himself, no partner to speak of, as more than one of the four horsemen in a single area was never really good news. He crawled from the wreckage and up to his feet, his tall, lanky form dressed in some sort of skin tight space suit with a pilot helmet over his head, armored gear along his arms and legs, a breastplate that was obviously too big for him, and what appeared to be utility shorts. He didn't seem all too threatening for a fabled herald of doom.


The people at the diner he ended up at moments later might not have agreed though. Despite this he ordered some of the local Earth food and waited with a jaded and displeased look upon his ash gray face.

Boy was he starving.
